The draft plan includes various view protection and preservation components that support Poway’s community image and character.

  • Maximum height of 35 feet (40 feet if community amenities are provided).

  • Two story maximum (up to 3 stories if community amenities are provided).

  • Step backs on upper floors of buildings in order to preserve and enhance the view corridor down Poway Road.

  • Design standards that maximize preservation of views of surrounding hillsides.
